I'd say I've seen both. Definitely more that tells you but it's boring, but plenty that just doesn't bother explaining.

I mean that is classic clickbait, innit?
Meanwhile, we got snow this morning. (Just a little bit.)
Incredible that you had time to sign books with such a tight connection!
Maybe you haven't seen them, but many of us have been using them for years, long before this whole AI situ began. You can pry my favorite punctuation from my cold, dead, 100% human hands.
By having another, more important task I need to do but really don't want to.
🤣🤣🤣
I mean it's not a bad place to be if you wanna do activism, but you probably won't find your reps there.
And so many more since!
Fun Fact: The state of Washington was named Washington and not Columbia (which was under consideration) because they were concerned Columbia would get too confusing with the District of Columbia.
Yeah, that worked out great.
Was it "spreadsheets" or the Billionaire Tears mug? Or both?
There's always that one lot! I used to live in a large apartment complex in Seattle that never bothered to have anyone shovel the sidewalk adjacent to it... they'd shovel all the walkways and driveways within the complex but not the sidewalk, and it always made me so mad.
I suppose the start of that thread is also relevant here:

Might have been the government! I just saw this post a few minutes before yours

That's so good to hear! And it's even more satisfying when you have a successful event in spite of the hitches.
HOLY SHIT Y'ALL
we raised over $15,000 for BIPOC trans folks in Portland and mutual aid / rent assistance in Twin Cities, and I venture to say that all four hours of this telethon are absolute bangers. the whole thing is available to rewatch here and you can still donate for the next 24 hours!
I always say (especially since I started running live streams for @tbfighters.org), it isn't a live stream without a few technical issues!
I've been thinking about this since the day I turned 25 and gave up Snapchat.
There might even be athletes in the Paralympics who have been affected by TB!
I mean, I don't know this, but I'm willing to bet there have been at some point.
Have you seen this Articles of Interest post about weird perfumes? Because that's what this reminded me of.

If you want to support our little gang of whistle printers, @mostlybree.kitrocha.com has an ongoing thread of wishlists for folks printing with us who are running low on filament. Filament is the ONLY thing we need to make whistles go toot. So help support some printers!
and taking care of the people most impacted by the injustices. And we keep following the lead of the people who have been organizing against oppression for generations, because if anyone can show us the way to get through this and build a better world for everyone, it's them. (2/2)
It's not an especially practical answer but... we keep fighting. We keep doing what we can, even if it doesn't feel like it can possibly be enough. We keep believing we'll get to the other side of this, even if it feels impossible. We keep taking care of ourselves, taking care of each other... (1/2)
This would not have happened if advocates hadn’t been insisting on this funding relentlessly for a year.
When everything is terrible and things move slowly, it’s hard to believe that adding your voice to a cause actually does something.
It does though
Now *I'm* crying and it was so worth it
Thank you JD!! 🥹
Thank you Tori for the kind words! TB Ed Talks have been an absolute joy to work on.
My favorite form of metamucil is capsules. Give me that fiber in a form I can just swallow without thinking about it. (Unfortunately I think it's also a more expensive form.)
And don't forget the many people who would love to work with you!
As for examples of my work, I'll point to the TBFighters live streams at www.youtube.com/@TB_Fighters.... I lead production for all these streams, communicating with guests and colleagues to ensure all the pieces are in place, using OBS to run the streams, and training others to use OBS in my stead.
I'm looking for work! I'm most experienced in virtual assistance, project management, and administration. Open to part-time permanent roles, #freelancing, and one-off projects. If you have a lead or just want a few hours of help with your inbox or a project, I want to hear from you!
