We’ve now lost so much. We will now never have the moral high road on anything, for the rest of my life. It will take decades to even begin to repair the disastrous damage to economic, social, educational, agricultural, …the list goes on… aspects of American life, our economy, and relationships.
I know. And positive thinking and open determination matter.
But stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, I am taking a moment to grieve openly.
I grieve the reputation I believe the (united) States of America had in the world as a place for “truth, justice, and the American Way.”
