I haven't heard any potential Democratic candidate promise to pardon everybody arrested for protesting ICE.

That'd go a long way toward showing me they're opposition and not just controlled.

It's horrifying to see US politicians and pundits evoke the 6 US soldiers killed in their unprovoked war of aggression, while ignoring the 1000s of Iranians killed. It assumes that Americans only care about American lives. Which is evil, obviously.

The Constitution is clear: Congress is responsible for authorizing offensive military action and declaring war. This President – or any President – should not launch America into sustained offensive military activity in the Middle East, or anywhere, without Congress’ authorization.

I propose a new law:

Anyone who expresses support for an offensive war shall immediately be drafted to fight in it. No exceptions and no exemptions for any reason, including disability or service as a government official in any office. Presidents and congressmen shall fight in any war they start.
