tl;dr: DoJ requests dropping case against NYC Mayor Adams because (1) it may have been political since Adams spoke against Biden's immigration reform and (2) allowing the Mayor to focus on fighting immigration is more important than corruption. Since when do we ignore crimes for expediency?
