He could have brought in someone like Davis Web as OC and a seasoned vet as an advisor and DC, like a R Morris or Shwartz

In retrospect I agree with the people who didn’t think Allen should have been part of this process.

Could they make a more uninspired, cowardly hire? They’re still shooting for the floor instead of the ceiling.

They legitimately couldn’t have made a worse hire. While it’s crude to call him “a joke” that’s a modern way of saying what everyone’s thinking.

Unfortunately there’s more to being a HC than just running an offense.

Between what you’re saying about Daboll and Dan says about Brady it doesn’t seem like the offense run by the Bills the past 6 years has been worth a damn…yet, it keeps producing points. It can’t all be Allen.

I don’t think they hire Daboll. It’s just the “big name” out there and media training 101 is lead with the “big name.”

Yeah, the Sabres are a mess but the fact that he doesn’t do that with the Bills eliminates him from the worst owner designation.

Nah, he’s been a good owner. Except for today he doesn’t get in front of cameras, he writes big checks and he lets his football people make the football decisions. That’s what you want.

This game wasn’t an anomaly. He’s ignored the run and QB contain and crashed inside much of the year. He’s a reason the Bills’ run D is bad.

I dunno. McDaniel as an offensive designer I like. As a play caller…not so much.

He’s the king of getting down 7-10 points in the early 2nd and calling plays like he’s down 21 in the 4th quarter.

Question about this move. I thought in the playoffs there are unlimited PS elevations. What’s the purpose of actually elevating Jackson? Or am I wrong about the elevations?

I remember hearing this same thing when the Bills were favored IN Kansas City last year (they covered) and were favored on the road against the 10 game win streak Patriots a few weeks ago (they covered.)

Jags might win but the whole “why is X team favored?!!!” angle is overplayed.
