Farmers are struggling and families are feeling the squeeze.

In this year’s Farm Bill, Republicans refused to address Trump’s tariffs, failed to reverse SNAP cuts, denied emergency aid to farmers at risk of losing their farms, and that’s just the beginning.

This bill doesn’t meet the moment.

As I told Jim Sciutto, Congress has a constitutional duty to step in and check this president’s war of choice.

Our job is to protect American lives, defend the Constitution, and keep our service members out of forever wars.

I voted YES on the War Powers Resolution.

Under Kristi Noem, the Department of Homeland Security became increasingly aggressive and willing to push the boundaries of the law.

It’s long past time that she was fired.

But accountability can’t stop with one person. We must hold ICE accountable and work towards commonsense reforms.

Pete Hegseth’s comments on the deaths of six U.S. service members were disgusting and despicable.

Six brave Americans are dead — and the Secretary of Defense is worried about how it makes the president look.

Absolutely vile.

How The Iran Conflict Is Impacting Gas Prices Gas is up an average of 22 cents per gallon already at U.S. pumps.

As if everyday costs weren’t already high enough, Trump’s war with Iran is now driving gas prices up.

When will this president start focusing on making life better for hardworking Americans here at home instead of fueling costly conflicts overseas?

I voted to demand the House Ethics Committee publicly and immediately release all sexual misconduct reports involving Members of Congress.

The public — and the victims — deserve transparency and accountability.

Congress cannot hide these reports the way Republicans have hidden the Epstein files.

This morning, I joined fellow veterans in Congress to speak out against Trump's war with Iran.

We cannot keep writing blank checks for conflicts overseas while families here at home are struggling to afford groceries and gas.

Trump must put the needs of Americans first.

To all those celebrating across Virginia, Chag Purim Sameach!

Wishing you all joyous time spent with loved ones.

Costs at home are skyrocketing.

And you know what else would come at a staggering price? A war with Iran.

Instead of concentrating on bringing down costs, we are drifting toward an open-ended conflict in the Middle East.

The American people deserve better.

The deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of federal agents were heartbreaking and preventable.

Kristi Noem's attempts to smear them as "domestic terrorists" is nothing more than a half-baked attempt to protect her secret police.

I am heartbroken for the service members we’ve lost and for the loved ones they leave behind.

As an Iraq War veteran, I know the weight of losing even one American in uniform.

My thoughts are with their families and with all our brave service members serving in harm’s way.

I will not shed a tear over the death of Ayatollah Khamenei. Good riddance.

But make no mistake, I don’t trust that President Trump has a plan or is telling the truth, and you shouldn’t either.

Trump is not a president of peace. He is a president of chaos and war.

My thoughts are now firmly with the American service members who will bear the brunt of President Trump’s ill-advised adventure.

But the decision to go to war rests with Congress because the Founders knew such consequential decisions require the assent of the people.

President Trump has ignored that obligation again, and I dread it will lead to another war in the Middle East that the American people do not want.

There is no love lost between me and the Iranian regime, and the world would be better off without them.

28.02.2026 15:51 👍 10 🔁 1 💬 1 📌 0

The Iranian regime is evil.

They have brutally suppressed their own people — most recently murdering tens of thousands of their own citizens demanding freedom — and long sponsored terrorist attacks across the world.

My twin brother, Alex, was wounded by an Iranian IED while serving in Iraq.

President Trump has exposed our troops, citizens, and allies to great risk from Iran in the form of ballistic missiles and terrorist attacks.

Make no mistake, American blood and treasure will be consumed in this war of choice.

I have said before that wars are easy to start and hard to finish, and regime change from the air is very unlikely to succeed.

28.02.2026 15:51 👍 12 🔁 3 💬 2 📌 0

It should never be the case that the United States puts our sons and daughters in harm's way without a clear purpose, path to victory, and exit strategy.

28.02.2026 15:51 👍 12 🔁 3 💬 2 📌 0

Trump doesn’t know, and, worse, he doesn’t care. He and his team are incapable of a sound strategy to succeed.

He said in his speech justifying the strikes, “The lives of courageous American heroes may be lost.” He is too eager to make a sacrifice that service members and their families will bear.

This morning, President Trump again broke his promise to the American people to stop pursuing wars of choice in the Middle East.

As an Army veteran who served in Iraq, I’m left asking one question: How does this war end?

It was great to meet with Fredericksburg Sheriff Cowles and Police Chief Mason to discuss how I can best support local law enforcement in Congress.

Thank you both for your time and dedication to keeping our community safe. I look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen public safety.

As the only Virginian on the House Agriculture Committee, I’ve seen firsthand how Trump admin policies are squeezing farmers and families across our Commonwealth.

I backed legislation to strengthen the financial security of our producers and ensure that families don’t have to choose between bills.

While Americans struggle with an affordability crisis, President Trump focused on vanity projects at the White House.

Last night confirmed what many already see: this president governs in his own interest, not yours.

Zelenskyy says Putin has 'not broken' Ukrainians as he marks 4 years since Russia's all-out invasion Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that Russia has not “broken Ukrainians” nor triumphed in its war.

Four years after Putin launched his brutal full-scale invasion, Russia still occupies 20% of Ukraine’s territory.

Despite this, the Ukrainian people remain unbroken.

The United States must remain clear-eyed and resolute. We cannot waver in our support for a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine.

In Congress, I’m working every day to deliver real solutions on affordability — and to hold this administration accountable when it fails to do its job.

We can do better, and we must. (3/3)

The State of the Union made one thing clear: Americans need steady, serious leadership that delivers on lowering costs, strengthening our economy, and putting working families first.

What we saw last night was the opposite. (2/3)

Last night, we heard more lies from Donald Trump.

❌No real plan to bring down grocery prices.
❌No strategy to cut utility bills.
❌No relief for families stretched thin.

Just more chaos and broken promises. (1/3)
