Literally a couple hundred feet to the front gate, my man! A similar walk from say..Ft Greene to the nearest subway? You should come visit and see for yourself. We'd be happy to host you.
At most gates, the current terminal is too close to the taxiway for an aircraft longer than a 737-700
And the new Burbank terminal will allow newer, quieter 737s later this year!
