A few weeks ago in Idyllwild, we held a town hall that was packed with neighbors ready to be heard.
Speaking directly with voters is how we win in CA-48. We’re the campaign with the coalition to do just that.
Special thank you to the Idyllwild Town Crier for the write-up of our event!
Every conversation matters. Yesterday in Palm Springs, I heard your concerns, hopes, and ideas firsthand. I’m the candidate who will take your voices to Congress and deliver.
Let’s build upon this momentum and bring real chance to CA-48. 💪 #CA48 #RikerforCongress

Statement on the Supreme Court decision ⬇️
Proud to stand with neighbors yesterday on Presidents’ Day to lift up the values that bring our community together — civic engagement, accountability, and a government that works for everyone. Democracy is strongest when people show up. 🇺🇸
Happy Valentine’s Day CA-48💐 from: Team Riker💌 #CA48 #RikerforCongress
Campaigns are not built in Washington or with TV ads or endorsements. They are built in living rooms like this. With meet and greets like the one hosted last night in Palm Springs.
Thank you to the Cherniacks for opening their home.
Honored to join an incredible group of neighbors and volunteers at today’s food distribution with Mountain Communities Mutual Aid in Idyllwild this morning. Thank you for having us and for the powerful work you do every day to uplift families in our community. #CA48 #RikerforCongress
Small businesses are the backbone of our local economies, especially here in Palm Springs. That’s why I was proud to talk to local business owners and residents at PS Homeboys tonight to discuss ideas and concerns affecting our community. #CA48 #RikerforCongress
Our campaign is about building coalitions — and that starts right here in my hometown of Palm Springs! Thank you to former U.S Ambassador Noah Mamet, for having us at Canopy Wine Lounge tonight to discuss how we are going to defeat Darrell Issa and flip the 48th. #CA48 #RikerforCongress
Being in Idyllwild for the 5th town hall hosted by our campaign, I felt the power of a community ready to be heard. Neighbors showed up, asked hard questions, and had honest conversations about the issues facing our community. #CA48 #RikerforCongress #Idyllwild
Thank you to Cal State University San Marcos students and James Massie for having us to speak to your club and be on your podcast! Their ambition and drive reminds me of when I got my start organizing for President Obama while in college! #CA48 #RikerforCongress #CalStateSanMarcos
Trump and Texas Republicans tried to steal five congressional seats from California. Voters said no. Now it’s time to replace Darrell Issa with someone who actually lives in and fights for CA-48. I’m the only candidate in this race who calls this district home.
As Black History Month begins, we honor the leaders, organizers, and trailblazers who continue to move us forward in shaping our communities. This month and always, proud to celebrate the history, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans.
Idyllwild Team Riker volunteers showed up strong today! 💪 our campaign is fueled by the grassroots support seen with events like this. We’re ready to defeat Darrell Issa and give CA-48 the representation it deserves in Congress! #CA48 #RikerforCongress #Idyllwild
Thank you to Barry Schwartz and Dudley Johnson for having us at your home for a meet and greet last night! CA-48 deserves leadership that listens - this campaign is proud to be built on hearing directly from the people who call this district home. Proud to be a part of this people-powered campaign!
This campaign runs on people power 💪 thank you to our dedicated volunteers who came out on a Sunday morning to show support for Brandon in Palm Springs 🌴 we have the best volunteers, the best energy, and the best team out there! #CA48 #RikerforCongress
Americans are dying at the hands of federal agents operating without accountability. This is not law enforcement. This is state sanctioned terror. We need mass organizing, relentless pressure, and leaders who will fight for human life and dignity over power and repression.
Joined community members in Hemet today to call for accountability and reform. I’m running for Congress to ensure our laws reflect the values our community stood for today: compassion, justice, and respect for human rights.
As a trained economist, I know that if we let Trump destroy the independence of the Federal Reserve, we'll see the same hyperinflation that's the hallmark of every dictator in history. The Fed must operate without political fear or favor, or grocery prices and rent will get a hundred times worse.
I stood with my neighbors in Palm Springs today because this moment demands presence, not indifference. A masked federal agent killed an American citizen without accountability. This isn’t politics, it’s about transparency and a government that answers to us. Proud to stand with this community
The shooting in Minneapolis linked to federal agents is unacceptable. No one should fear being killed by the government for simply being present in their community. Darrell Issa voted to increase ICE’s budget by $75 billion with zero accountability. There must be accountability now.
Trump needs a distraction from a failing economy, and that failure is on him. Instead of investing here at home to lower the cost of rent, food, and healthcare, we're talking about spending billions to secure oil fields in a foreign country.
Trump is dragging us into another endless war with Venezuela. We’ve seen this before. I campaigned for Obama because I opposed endless war in Iraq and I oppose any reckless approach that puts our troops in harms way. Both parties must demand accountability now.
Volunteer powered 🧡
We’ve held 90+ community meetings and 4 town halls because we believe representation means actually listening.
Outside Darrell Issa’s Escondido office yesterday. Issa has voted against protecting reproductive rights, against the Equality Act, and continues to take money from corporate PACs while ignoring his constituents.
Veterans Day in Escondido today. They deserve leaders who fight for their healthcare, housing, and benefits. You showed up for us. We’ll show up for you. 🇺🇸
Senate Democrats just caved on raising healthcare costs. Days after voters told us to fight back. Time for new leadership. #CA48 #Congress2026
Brandon joined volunteers at a local food bank -a lifeline for 150,000 people each month across the region.
With SNAP cuts, they’re making up for the equivalent of $10 million lost in food assistance.
No one in California’s 48th District should go hungry.
Together, we can change that.
