New pub alert! Retention in #HIV care still matters, even in the modern treatment era: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40530937/
Excited 2 bring the Massachusetts model of care to AL. MD shortages plague our state, & our HIV/OBAT clinic is often overbooked. But with the nurse care manager model, champion by Colleen Labelle (center), we can extend high-quality addiction care across the state. TY Colleen & Grayken team

As someone in a red state, very much hoping something else is at play. Thank you so much for keeping us all informed and updated.
As someone living in a red state, I am not surprised but also need are blue/purple states to take the lead and am glad they have done so
@altnih4science.bsky.social I am hearing that ASSIST will not accept budgets with an IDC rate above 15%. Is that true?
I keep rereading this section & canβt figure out what on earth they are talking about. What is your read?
βOnly three universities in the sample refused to accept indirect cost rates lower than their federal indirect rate...β
Agree, itβs blatantly apparent too by the ridiculous way itβs written.

ECONOMIC ACTIVITY SUPPORTED: $909 M
Bio Industry Impact:
Jobs: 12,786

Cutting NIH indirects will end jobs & cause a recession.

Solidarity!
What an incredibly important publication. Thank you for sharing!
My grant was supposed to reviewed today. π
FWIW as an NIH funded researcher, Iβm going to work on my grant proposals that are meant to help vulnerable ppl, write my papers, meet with colleagues, (ie, do my job). Iβm not going to stopβ¦and neither should you
Someone had the gall to mail me an advert for local raw milk. They donβt know who they are messing with!
