To take a benign example, a straw being pulled out of a lid yesterday was like a chainsaw being raked like nails against a chalkboard but instead of an anxiety and anger spike I like...idk felt my entire nervous system light up and get somewhat uncomfortable.
The most stressful thing but also I'd wager the biggest sign I'm making headway on self caring the tism and likely at this point the audhd is im becoming way more perceptive of how sensitive my body is to stimuli. Things haven't become actually more intense but I notice the effect way more often...

So 7 months later of more therapy and evals, my doc and psychiatrist think bipolar was incorrect and, both my therapist and psychiatrist see value in being assessed for adhd which would make me audhd if so.
And apparently bipolar is a more common than it should be misdiagnosis for audhd...
