Disabilities can be super variable.
What works for someone one day, might not work the next.
When they’ve just about found a way to manage, something else happens or the disability progresses, so it’s back to the drawing board.
It’s a constant balance, and constantly adapting.
Minimising or dismissing ADHD as a social construct can be rebuffed with:
- multiple studies/scans showing structural, functional and other brain differences
- lived experience of so many manifesting same symptoms in same predictable ways
- responding to stimulants in the same predictable ways
