40 Years

Making chains is fun! But I’d missed a step in the tutorial I watched, so when I made the array all the links pointed straight down and hung in space along the path. Adjusted the pivot point and now the ol’ ball and chain is looking just fine 🤖⛓️

Harnessing the awesome power of leaves is harder than it looks. A lot of iterations of leaf shield trying to land on one I liked. Flip side, painting on the alpha channel to give it that little bit of wood texture was very satisfying 🤖🌳

It seems like Nomad doesn’t have bones or rigging? But there are some good tutorials on making a hierarchy so it acts like rigging. Once set up, I copied the model and reposed it in a couple of different ways.

After accidentally deleting his mustache twice, I’d say I got a lot of practice with messy, spiky hair.

This one was tricky. learned to Boolean and split sections for the armor and to create the pieced together helmet of Mixtape from Megaman Timelines.

Lots of layering and flattening the boulder, then a scratch brush to dirty it up and add some texture.
