Finished making my badge today! Started with a lineart base I bought from an artist on Etsy, coloured it on my tablet using Procreate and made up the text to edit onto it. Printed it on photo paper, laminated and painstakingly cut it out and itβs done :3

I used this mostly as an opportunity to test out some paint chipping techniques, I achieved the affect with a cocktail stick dipped in silver paint and a lot of patience.
Iβm a huge nerd about the Pacific Theatre in WW2 so Iβll undoubtably build more models from this period so itβs good practice!!
Hereβs a model Iβve had 95% done for ages so decided to finish it off today (apart from the radio aerial which is now done) a 1:48 scale N1K2-J Shiden-Kai. This kit is 45 years old so detail is minimal and the decals were quite challenging to work with but for a quick build it came out pretty nice βΊοΈ
Motocompo facts with a doggy!
Few work in progress shots, was a nice simple paint job with the airbrush and took the opportunity to test some new techniques for the weathering. This one served with the Australians in the Pacific so went with a bit of mud around the tracks and some pigment for a sandy/dusty/salty kinda look xP
I really enjoy making model kits, have done on and off since I was a teenager and recently I wanted a nice quick build to get the mojo back. This is one of my fave WW2 tanks, a Matilda II in 1:76 scale I finished today :3
Quite fiddly to build at such a small scale but I think it came out well :D
