Ricardo Tranjan: The law allows landlords to make the elderly homeless. Whose dreams of the future is government helping? In Quebec, New York and Germany, laws protecting elderly renters from eviction are robust. Why doesn’t Ontario?

"In other places, laws prohibit landlords from evicting vulnerable seniors. But not in Ontario."
"The Ontario government has the authority to draft similar laws, but it won’t."
