3.33 takes the series in an entirely different direction. And the last one (3.0+1.01, not 4.0 or 4.44 like you'd think) finished the stories, but i can't tell you much about that one since I've not seen it yet
Yeah. Evangelion 1.0 or 1.11 (or whatever it is) You Are (Not) Alone is the first of the 4 movie-length remakes. 1.11 (as it's currently labeled on Amazon) covers about the first 6 episodes I think? And there's maybe a couple minor differences. 2.22 is where you see some departure from the original.
I saw this was on one of the streaming platforms currently (Netflix I think?) and gave it a watch too. I'm right there with you. I actually like the movie-length remakes a bit more, but have only watched the first three (there's one more I never got to see). I should track those down..

So, I played Minecraft today. Then I listened to a video of a miniature painter chatting while lofi grunge played in the background. And I'm working out some details of making a 3" x 3" game board. (it's not a secret, BUT IT'S A SECRET).

If the show comes back, I want to see someone else attached to it, telling a new story in that universe, with a new cast, and good human writers.
In one hand, you've got a garbage human. In the other, you have a show beloved by many (I'll leave whether it's good or not to smarter people than I).
Can we toss the human to maybe save the show? Or do we just wash our hands of them both?
Today has made me really think about things going on in my life that I need to rethink. And if I'm less engaging for a while, just know I'm making some changes behind the scenes.

We decided to give him more time.
So that we could give him the chance to recover.
He's going into surgery one more time, then we'll revisit *the decision* in a few months.
I was ready to say goodbye.
I cried like I never cried before.
I thought about all that I would say.
I was not prepared for the surgeon to say he actually has a chance of recovery.

I'm going to lose my dad today. He's no longer breathing on his own. His brain has been too badly damaged for recovery to be reasonable. He's paralyzed on the left side. He didn't want to live like a vegetable, so the family is gathering and the plug will be pulled in about an hour and a half.

So, in White Dwarf 517, in the Cavalry Engagement article, are the 'Rapid Reinforcement' and 'Commit the Reserves!' strategems supposed to be identical? The only difference is that RR has some restrictions, but it otherwise the same thing.
I'm confused. Anyone have answers?
