Yeah I really don't think so. The wording in the latest few posts talking vaguely about "future plans" or "next steps" rather than the two named expansions they already announced seems like a hint in that direction.

Big Hops is out today! I've been playing it for the last week and a bit (on PS5), and it's a true joy - really excellent movement and flow, really wonderful vibes and characters, and some clever-yet-super-smooth mechanics around collecting and using plants to explore. Very highly recommended.

Definitely that last bit too - when Carol realizes they can't lie, and will happily tell the truth about some things, but she then has to keep approaching different ways to get it to tell her something she actually needs to know.

Yeah coming out of the first two or three episodes, it definitely seemed to be strongly hinting at that - a lot of "all knowledge is scooped up but not selectively shared/presented". And the only sources of actual truth are hard copy with everything else shutdown.

Yeah it felt like of that era where they were trying to get onto multiple pillars - they'd brought back WW2, had the modern games, then this, and they got scared off it. Even Modern Warfare and Black Ops got rebooted to "share a universe" now, sigh, how lame.

I think it’s really excellent yeah. Wild how much different stuff it tried, a lot of which it did well, and then never came back again. Really stands out as a very good CoD campaign in a way the haven’t come close to since at all.

Yeah for sure I would never want to do it again, and I wouldn’t say it was “worth it”, but it was still kind of incredible at the end.

As someone who did 5 straight years crunching on that and GTA before it…yuuuuuup. At least it was nice to be working late and be able to find a lovely view and listen to a perfect storm roll over, to slightly make things better.

It’s just letting you enjoy each frame of art that little longer. Closing as By Design.
