There's a bullet hole in the top left corner of the image, and the centre of it acts as the eye for Thanatos, who appears as a shadow in the background, his white-gloved hand curling round the protagonist in the foreground. The primary colours present in the illustration are CMYK, the colours that make up everything in printing, in an attempt by the artist to represent "The Fool".
