I wouldn’t count on this ultimately going our way. This SCOTUS has historically given broad power over all military in this country to the pres. If they rule in his favor, he will suddenly take control of national guard in every blue state.

Also, running something through someone means you run it by them and they agree with it, not just merely telling them about it.
