The thing that is so excellent about being Jewish is we have a major holiday that is primarily devoted to dairy. We spend all day eating cheese, cheesecake, yogurt, etc. It's cheese day.

We killed an ENTIRE FLU with bandanas and going shopping less. The flu could kill me but I assume you don't want the flu, either.

With improved HVAC systems, we don't even need to go shopping less. A better world is possible with collective effort.

We should have a memorial day for COVID. It is horrific that we as a society have done virtually nothing to remember the millions who have died. Rushing to forget what happened also makes it much more likely that we will continue to repeat our deadly mistakes.

This decision is antithetical to public health. COVID-19 in pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, is extremely dangerous and aside from the elderly infants younger than 6 months have the highest risk of hospitalization from COVID. They are critically dependent on maternal antibodies.

Public sector feeds private sector. You can dislike it but you can’t empirically refute it. The role of public sector investment in growing our economy is both indisputable and under exploited.

Thankfully, I was able to get my 3 and 1.5 year old early 2nd MMR doses so we're reasonably safe from that nonsense.
