We call MEPs to adopt the EU Anti-Poverty Strategy Report! The European Parliament must send a strong message to the European Commission: the EU Anti-Poverty Strategy must be comprehensive, ambitious and well funded.

We urge on MEPs to adopt the European Parliament’s Report on the EU Anti-Poverty Strategy and recognise it as undermining fundamental rights and to put forward concrete measures and targets to work towards the eradication of poverty.

Coalition for an EU Anti-Poverty Strategy Eradicating Poverty by 2050: More Than Words, a Comprehensive EU-Wide Strategy Is Needed Ageism perpetuates discrimination and deepens socio-economic inequalities in old age. The strategy must also reflect the lived experiences of older persons.

As part of the 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗨 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗣𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆, AGE is calling for a strategy that tackles root causes, like discrimination and lack of access to rights, and includes the perspectives of older people.
