It’s also interesting to think how the pre-recorded keynote format has also allowed this to sneak in. Obviously it’s a second order thing, but if you can’t demo it on a live stage I don’t think could be promised.

In my job we do option 1 (Rails API with Next frontend on Vercel), on my own stuff option 2 (Vite + Inertia).
1 causes in an incredible amount of friction and pain.
Absolutely loved the Half-Life 2 documentary. Great collection of war stories and examples of ingenious creativity.
Next I need to figure out how to play it again.

Working on a new personal website. Giving @astro.build a go for the first and so far it has been seamless 🤌
Finally picked up an Apple Studio Display. As an object it's great and far better than the LG (with really bad burn-in) it's replacing.
Fundamentally though it's the same panel and display technology from 2016 which is disappointing. Apple's job is to push tech forward and they haven't done that.
This app is very nostalgic.
