my girls, Katelyn and Kathryn (or as I sometimes call them, Kit and Kat).
they don't really have a fixed "story" because my ADHD has so far prevented me from actually writing it down (eternally too many other projects), but they've been a way for me to express myself since I created them in 2016.

Having recently played through all three routes of Fates (and thoroughly enjoyed them, in spite of How Fates Is Sometimes), I appreciate that Engage's story isn't trying that hard and doesn't take itself that seriously.

Last names, noble houses, give us something that ties them to the world they're in!

It's so out of nowhere, he's one of only two recruitable students I didn't pick up in my previous Blue Lions run (The other was Raphael).

Even with timewarp shenanigans I just couldn't be bothered to do 5 or 6 more loops to get C Armor on Byleth.

Engage's theme is just so fun, can't help but want to sing along. 🎶

Emperor doesn't have the speed penalty of the Armor Knight line, but otherwise I think they're fairly similar?
Edelgard's speed isn't spectacular in my limited experience anyway, so I dunno if that actually matters.

It took me two tries to get through the map, in part because Edelgard kept landing 5% crits with her map ranged attack and obliterating Hapi. But I got there eventually. :)

That last map was...something. If I hadn't set up Byleth to avoid tank quite a bit earlier I don't think I could have managed the sheer number of enemies.

Sure is One of the Maps of All Time, isn't it.
The ambush reinforcements thieves with pass, and if Gilbert survives past like turn 3 he'll aggro the archers on the upper level and bring the whole map down on you.

Conquest Lunatic feels like a much more fair and interesting challenge, even as stacked as the deck there is.

There's still a certain amount of puzzling to do, but yeah - there are some downright cruel ambush spawns in 3H.
I have yet to finish my maddening Blue Lions run because it's basically devolved into an Unarmed Byleth solo. xD

You can still accomplish silly builds if you do some light time traveling with the infinite month glitch, but enemies do hit much harder and their stats scale up drastically as the game goes on.

It's definitely a challenge.
Be prepared to glance at the wiki page for a chapter to see where the ambush reinforcements spawn, or be ready to rewind a lot.
