Just took a flower arranging class there Saturday. It was packed and fun, and the She Loves Me team did a fantastic job.

Slight quibble: Isn't Florida the *poop* in this rendering?

"Maybe thatβs because, over the course of 250 increasingly tragic years, the United States has finally become exactly like them."
"For now, we have unnecessarily injected ourselves into a long-troubled corner of the world where there are almost no good guys, where theocratic dictators are unceasingly slaughtering the citizens of other theocratic dictators."
"we should be alarmed about the destructive threat of nuclear bombs in the hands of unconstrained strongmen backed by religious fanatics β whether thatβs in Tehran, Jerusalem, or Washington."

I need to know what this is. I have a cat I think would LOVE this.
Hey, my tattoo artistβs nickname is Fatty & heβs skinny π€·πΌββοΈ
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!
Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles are coming to DC Jazz Fest!
THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
As a native of the Philly area, I endorse this choice!
He's SOOOO close to figuring himself out......
Hillary brought nuclear warheads to a gun fight.
Oh FFS (on the info shared in both your comments - we have the fix, only itβs too easy to wiggle out, meanwhile, thereβs a completely ass-backwards rule with the mortgages) SMDH
I wish there was a legislative/taxation way to compel commercial landlords to drop rents via some sort of escalation clause - i.e., the longer the space sits vacant, the more we financially punish you until it becomes foolish NOT to drop the rent to something prospective tenants can afford
For the artists or the art?
(Also, RIP Artomatic. Like Cap Fringe, a much-missed casualty of the dramatic changes in DC WRT the real estate situation.)
No idea, but me & my spouse were joking about this space on our way back from yoga & running some errands on H on Sunday. "You think we'll get to retirement [in a decade, give or take], sell the house to move to some place more suitable for elders, and this space will STILL be empty?"
Dude, WOPR had this figured out in 1983 and, comparatively speaking, it had the "compute" of, maybe, your average scientific calculator.
MAKE AI PLAY TIC-TAC-TOE UNTIL IT LEARNS, fer chrissakes.
We ate there with friends last fall. Meal was terrific (although pricey), but it was a Saturday night and the place was empty. That's not a sustainable business model.
I see what you did there π€£π€£π€£
This seems like a job for a smart person with a 3-D printer (note: that person is NOT me)
Not an exaggeration, without him in goal, this game wouldnβt have even been close.
Jesus Christ Jack Hughes is a bad ass. Iβve taken a hit to the mouth that *almost* cost me teeth (twice, actually) & I canβt believe not only did he keep playing, but he scored the game winning goal. RESPECT.
Just don't feed it. Once you feed it, it's yours. I don't make the rules.
Damn straight. No single-taskers in my kitchen!
Those buckets are also great if you happen to buy rice at Grand Mart, where you can get insanely low prices on 50 lb bags.
Early in the pandemic, we split a 50 lb bag of King Arthur Sir Galahad flour (sourced from Baldor Specialty Foods bc the grocery stores were all sold out) with friends. Where could we store 25 lb of flour? Enter: food grade 5 gallon bucket with screw-top lid. Proof against all kinds of critters.
I was supposed to go to a professional networking happy hour last night, and when I realized I'd be standing there waiting for the D20 (RIP X2) in said weather, I was like: "Or, I could make a cup of tea, put on KCSM, and read with a warm cat on my lap."
(Narrator: she did NOT go to the happy hour)
My nieces and nephew all played soccer as kids. The MOST fun games to watch were when they were REALLY little and didn't understand stuff like positions and strategy yet, and there was just this mass of kids in a big pack chasing the ball around the field. I feel like there's a lesson in that.
Of course, I MEANT DPR, although given the nature of some of the alerts I get, D(e)RP may be more appropriate
For instance, did you know that there's a fitness class that has the Kenilworth fitness room reserved from 6-7 pm every Monday and Wednesday night? There is, but not according to RecTrac.
