πŸ‘‹ Folks, I'm super excited to announce the launch of the Microsoft Zero Trust Assessment!

I've been working on this project for the past year at Microsoft with an extended team including our security researchers, product feature teams and docs

Here's what it does

Do people think the old docs or the new docs look better?

Old: github.com/Azure/azure-...

New: github.com/Azure/azure-...

The code to create a SecretClient in #rustlang is a little higher up in the README. This mirrors what most other #AzureSDK languages do while allowing us to compile snippets.

.NET STS releases supported for 24 months - .NET Blog .NET STS releases will be supported for 24 months

.NET STS releases are now supported for 2 years instead of 18 months starting with .NET 9 (the current STS). STS releases now go out-of-support on the same day as the previous LTS release. Upgrading to an STS release will no longer cause you to lose support!

Azure for Rust developers - Rust on Azure Get started developing with Rust on Azure using services like Azure Functions, Key Vault, Messaging, Identity, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, and the Azure SDK for Rust.

#rustlang docs are live on Microsoft Learn: aka.ms/rust/docs

These expand on #AzureSDK examples with more user scenarios and more to come. While we always want our crate READMEs to be helpful, we also want them to be concise. Of course, there's more information and many doc examples on docs.rs

In areas where our libraries (MSAL & Azure Identity SDK) diverge from that RFC, internal discussions are underway. ROPC is one such area.

The purpose of this doc is more to help customers think about often overlooked scenarios when using the .NET library's API surface.
