I can usually only say with certainty what POV or tense a book was written in if it made the book worse. Like, if having 2 narrators in 1st person present caused me to get confused about who was who at any point, then I’ll remember, but otherwise? Unlikely unless a relevant quote sticks in my brain

The answer to what happens in a delay is the screen keeps displaying what time you should have arrived at a station, going blank when the time passes, which is not at all useful. No good telling me I should have been at Central in 19 minutes when I’m stuck just outside Penrith
