more like 431 sins by now Urban fantasy, horror and dark fantasy enthusiast. I write ridiculous soap operatic serials, mostly about rock bands with a few vampires sprinkled in for fun. Find me on Ream: https://reamstories.com/morganschuricht

I see Tumblr is down... lol
I have several serials presently releasing over on Ream. There's a Ream Raid coming up around Valentine's Day, where I'll be opening Gravitas (Urban Fantasy with a MM romantic subplot) to the public for the duration. Hit the Lights also began with its debut chapter!

Hello. Please stop denigrating schizophrenics. We really do not deserve to have our mental conditions used as insults. Trump has dementia and he's a raging narcissist who's flailing. But I'm schizophrenic and I have never posted like he does.
A Cover.
Black Moon Down is doing pretty well after its release. Now, to finish up Blue Moon Rising and have it ready to go for next May's release date.
John Brown. Who saw black families being seated at the back of the church and had them come sit at the front with him and his family. Who believed the best way to end slavery and give black people a leg up was to give them access to education.
(around an image of the No Kings logo) ITβS OFFICIAL Nearly 7 million people have attended today's peaceful protests, which makes No Kings Day the biggest single-day protest against tyranny in American history! With more than 2,700 lawful and peaceful protests across all 50 states, No Kings Day was 14 times larger than both of Trump's presidential inaugurations (combined).
After a week of ridiculous Republican smears and Trump claiming that βvery few people are going to be there,β you just made history. #NoKings
Be safe out there today! π€

Augh. Book release in 18 days.
I'm not jittery or nervous or anything. Nope. Not me.
Update.
Keith's Choice is just about done, first draft that is.
10k into the 2nd draft of Road to Nowhere now.
Grumpy+Sunshine is my bread and butter.
That don't require upfront money tossed into the mill. All I had to do was get over my fear of being perceived lol and that was a whole other thing but I did it. The book is out there and now that I know how to do it, I'm doing it again! And again!
Pretty soon I had A Book (tm). But like, what do I do now? I am very intimidated by the idea of traditional publishing. But in this world, we no longer have to live by trad rules. There's plenty of spaces that help and promote self publishing.
So I began editing it. And hey... it was taking shape. Wow it was becoming book shaped. And I got excited and showed it to friends and the agreed it was very book shaped now. But still raw.
Took me 8 months of shaping and reshaping it.
I finally kinda gave up on the idea of ever actually writing a novel. Just wasn't in the cards. But, I decided to try one last time. And if it didn't work, at least I tried, right? Well... I did it. And oh it was terrible. I do mean terrible lol. But, hey, I did it! That's something right?
*slides up a chair* You know, I was much the same way. Had this idea I came up with as a kid. But the idea of writing a novel seemed out of reach. I didn't know how. Organizing is hard. I wrote fanfic but that was the extent of it.

Grump+sunshine is the meat and potatoes of my novel!
Presently I am exploring the journey a grunge band from the 90s makes through an underground of paranormal psychic activity. My main characters are an MM couple, one of them aro/demi-sexual (the drummer) and the other romantic/bi (the bassist). It's been a blast to finish the first trilogy.
I see we're all gravitating over here thanks to the recent changes to Facebook. So, hi! I'm Morgan Schuricht, author of Gravitas. I'm a non-binary person who writes all kinds of queer friendly things in their novels.
If I could be added pretty please?
Current WIPS:
Poison Parallel: Coming May 16th.
Keith's Choice: I do not know how to even describe this one. Hahaha. It's an experiment with 1st person writing.
The Road to Nowhere: 2nd Draft in progress.
Lost Son: Outlining/Concept stage.
I've been so busy the last few weeks. Holidays are over though, and survived the blizzard. So far I'm closing in on the 50k mark on my current WIP. So, the writing apparently never stops.
Oops, been a bit absent lately. But, busy. I'll be returning here now, apologies.
So, I did it. The series page is set up. Author blurb done. 1 book is live, the other two are in pre-order status and set to release in Feb and May of '25. When I began this journey at 14, I used to dream of this. Hope I did 14 year old me proud.
