We've moved past anger into indifference. Like so many other things in our society, our soccer team has become a casualty to the whims of nihilist millionaires who are happy to destroy the soul of the thing we care about because they think it will earn them an extra three pennies.
Don't blame me, I supported Patrick Murphy for AG.
You need to provide a trigger warning before you inject Kathleen Kane into my timeline.
HINES-IKE REVENGE GAME
Before the season I thought they'd move Herrera onto the wing and start him and hefti together. Now I'm thinking hefti was obtained as a Herrera replacement and they're trying to move him before the window closes.
Worked fine for DC United last season π¬
Guess we'll have to wait until summer to see Paul Pogba
I assume he's looking to flex his creativity and the next book will be about a spy whose cover is being Chief Soccer Officer who uses LinkedIn to break open an international spy ring
It's true what they say: The best thing about being a law dork is the prerogative to have a little fun
A great player, absolutely. A DCU great? That is not how I remember his brief time with us. Biggest signing in club history at the time. The club's first DP. He played 15 matches and scored 4 goals.
Genuine question -- is the Inquirer's style guideline to use "marijuana" instead of "cannabis?" The word 'marijuana' has racist origins. It's also just not as accurate as marijuana refers solely to flower whereas cannabis is a more general term.

Oh this is some deeply deranged sicko nonsense. We are so back.
Which MLS FO's other than your own are the easiest to work with and why? Which are the most difficult and why?
Rehmet has a perfect bio for the district (vet, union leader at lockheed) + TX Rs in a low grade civil war + Dem over performance in specials make a narrow Dem victory. The underlying political environment made this a landslide. Rs should be panicked they couldn't spend their way out of trouble.
Team was featuring Herrera on socials just this morning fwiw
That "about right" answer is giving permission to the Rs who in their gut feel it's too forceful but know that's not the "right" answer. I'd be curious to see this question as a binary or to ask a push one or the other question of the "about right" respondents
IMHO this IS a midfield move. They're gonna move Herrera to the wing and see if that's good enough. If the experiment fails they'll look for a midfield piece in the summer.
I bet they're moving Herrera to the wing. It's a cheap way to solve some of the midfield issues of who will provide service. If it works great, if not you make a move in the summer window.
There should be a rule that if you are a Known Sports Poster you can say things like βholy fucking shitβ with zero context but if you are primarily a Known Politics Poster that gets you like a two day ban
That's former MLS All-Star Tyler Miller! Put some respect on his name, JTT. Wayne Rooney is spinning in his grave.
His WHOLE timeline is like this
"the trip wasn't necessary. But it mattered."
If you want to keep tabs on the Doctor you have to be following him on LinkedIn where he's a mildly cringe grindset type. He posted yesterday about taking a 530 am flight from Orange County CA to DC -- presumably to greet 'Louis.'
If you're gonna play a 3-5-2 (which I think is likely the plan) your defensive backs need to play more defense than offense and that's not Herrera's strength. I'd imagine if they sign Lennon he'll be the starter and they move Herrera to the wing. Herrera bombing crosses to Baribo could be the move.
My guess would be if they sign Lennon they'll play herrera as a winger. Shores up the defense a bit (where Herrera isn't super strong) and solves a bit of their service issue from midfield to Baribo. Another indication that weiler is looking to play a 3-5-2.
