The reality is that large publishers in Japan seem to be very pro-AI translation, so even when consumers have historically fought back against MTL, companies just got better at hiding it and pushing the agenda forward under new names or outsourced agencies "they can't oversee"

Mark my words, the more states that require government ID to age verify, the more this will continue to happen. Porn sites are notorious for being hackable treasure troves of personal information, but a free email, frequently used password, or credit card are easily changed. Identities are not.
