Finished up my last class of the semester today, and I am filled with such immense gratitude to my students. They have made my first time teaching an absolute joy, and their kind words and emails after we wrapped up have me crying (happy tears!!) in my office π₯Ή

The students have been an absolute dream, and in their mid-term surveys many pointed to the positive, energetic space of the class time we share together. Long may it continue!
So far this semester we've talked about Antheopocene discourse, ecological grief, environmental racism, and (un)natural disasters. After reading week we'll be troubling wilderness, ecotourism, waste flows, and so much more!
Going into reading week absolutely knackered, but buzzing from the experience of starting to teach my very own, re-designed, 'Environments and Society' undergraduate course!
