My cat is due to go for surgery next Thursday.
I have insurance for her & she is getting the surgery no matter what. My friends have gently bullied me into a GFM to help ease the stress on myself & Callie during this time.

I've gone into more sewing detail of my front stitch applique method but the full tutorial is on my IG. Some of the prep is explained there which is why I speak about using a smidge of water to help keep fur out of the seam...with no context it sounds wild haha

Ever have a piece from your pattern that doesn't lay flat?
Sometimes, you can either make a cut into a dart, or you may have to separate pieces completely! It depends if a pattern has a convex or concave shape!
Usually:
Convex = darts
Concave = separate pieces

I always label my pieces just so I know what I'm sewing together. With complex designs, it makes it so much easier to keep track of all the pieces, big and small!
