Retired, back in UK after time away, likes walking, baking, motorcycles & warm weather. Left of centre, pro EU. Don't DM me a generic "Hi"/"Hello" & little else it makes me think you're a bot, ditto 1/2 naked pictures. It'll earn an instant block.

The LCOE for renewables is lower than everything else not only is it better for the world it's shed loads cheaper. Nuclear is about 5x the price.

Arrived at Penang prior to my flight to London via KL, in the lounge quaffing, sadly only got Carlsberg.

Not that she had plans for motherhood, my youngest stepdaughter is being forced back to πŸ’― in the office by a change in management. She's going to end up back with us for a while to reduce her commute until she can find another gig.

Ukraine needs Dumbfuckistan not to cut off whatever weapons it can supply them, they're between a rock and a hard place.

Trying to check in for my already booked return flight tomorrow. BA site showing no seats, no online checkin and go to airport. 🀞This is just glitches in the system Mrs B's brother was on the same flight home via London last week.

May will show how well they're doing really. I suspect they will get some more seats but less than the polls say because of tactical anti-reform and pro-green votes. Fatrage hitching his wagon to Trump who is loathed by the majority can't be doing Reform any favours.

For me it was 1979, I voted Labour not that it mattered where I lived Surrey South West at the time would elect a turd if the rosette was blue.

I would love it if Starmer could drop the diplomatic double talk and just respond with "fuck off you orange nonce"

I was so hopefully in 97, then came his twin act with Bush the selected. In many ways I think he was worse than Thatcher.

Germany declared war on the US in support of its ally Imperial Japan after Pearl Harbour. Who knows if the US would have got involved in the European war otherwise

I am betting there's at least some sub captains salivating at the thought of taking out of those carriers.

Maybe Jug Ears could book a Welrod out of the stores and do the world a favour.

They write me a letter once a month or so and I pop then into recycling. A bloke turned up once, I told him politely I wasn't interested.

The TV licence isn't a tax, no one is obligated to pay it unless they rewatch live TV, watch the BBC or use iPlayer to do so. I've not bothered for years and see little reason to find their bias.

Realistically a million maybe more people will die, there will be refugees everywhere. The US will retreat claiming victory but leaving utter chaos yet again. Vengeful terrorist incidents will continue for decades.

Seems a shorter list would be those in positions of authority that are not there.

I have got mightily pissed off over the years with being persuaded to choose the least worst option. Things just stay shite.

πŸ’― this and the follow up when people were leaving of "we're shaking of the fleas" from a minster was the topping on that bloody stupid statement.

I was disappointed to see Tesla sales down 45% in the UK. FFS surely we can do better πŸ’― must be the goal.

I am back again on a trip to Penang where we used to live and we still keep a small petrol car. Okay it's now 10 years old and the tech is dated compared to our two year old EV but it's also smelly, gutless and noisy. Possibly the best ICE car I've owned but not a patch on a BEV.

Mine will definitely exceed the range of my bladder with depending on weather and driving style 200 - 250 miles. Then if needed DC fast charge from around 20 - 80% is 20 minutes. Plug in, go to the facilities, piss cunt back and continue.

It's storing at πŸ’― that's a potential issue. Where we're not using it for a while I'll leave the traction battery somewhere around 60% if I am planning a long trip πŸ’― it's fine the manufacturer even recommends charging occasionally to that so that the BMS can balance.
