Interesting question. I donβt think I would want to skip that kind of dialogue. I play many games with that kind of player proximity-triggered conversations and in those situations, when I wander outside the trigger radius or whatever and skip it, itβs always a loss and Iβd feel the same way here
I am for them and donβt think length detracts. I can choose to stay and listen to the convo or not, though games that do this best give me something interesting to look at or rifle through or whatever near enough to the conversation to overhear imho
the phrase βthe American century of humiliationβ immediately burned a permanent mark on my brain and now it is the lens through which i will view the rest of my life
Executives seem so completely braindead that they actually, genuinely seem to believe that people don't like anything ABOUT a franchise or brand, they just like the name. So it's fine for a sequel to not have anything anybody liked about the previous game(s) in it. It doesn't matter.
Donβt you fools realize that if you reward these shameless cash grab Disney remakes with your dollars and eyes theyβre just gonna keep making them?
Itβs my four concurrent inner monologues. Itβs my Inside Out crew lol
This is the kind of analysis I am here for
Screenshot of a post from weaselle from Jun 18, 2024: I've said it before and i'll say it again: what we want is for these things to be run like a HOUSEHOLD... a home. A household still has a budget and an income and resources to manage; all the moving parts are the same but the focus is different. A business will let every person in it die a terrible death if it makes the business profit. A household will spend it's last dollar to keep the people in it safe and healthy. A household will use money as a resource to add value to the lives of the people in the household. A business will use people as a resource to add monetary value to the business. We don't want a government run like a business, we want a country run like a household. Because we live here.
I've never seen "running government like a business is bad, actually" illustrated as plainly and clearly as this:

I've seen some people saying how "AI"-generated text is now as good as certain published authors, and honestly I think it's really brave for these folks to admit in public how poor their reading comprehension has to be

Bro every song on their self-titled has an over-the-top stop everything protocol and demands I acknowledge that this may promote self-harm.
Like, bro, Know Your Enemy is a song about living.
Oh shitttt turn-based man Iβm gonna have so much fun with that. Deadfire was a blast in turn-based.
Did Deadfire with modded difficulty. Second-hardest difficulty settings but with all the mobs spawning like Path of the Damned. Brutally hard but fun to think through every fight
