I have my phpstorm setup to only ever have one tab open at a time and then just use recent file switching. I don’t think I could ever go back to multi tab chaos 😂

Sometimes it’s just when my brain works the best, and I can get stuff done without any other distractions 🤷‍♂️

The fight videos 🤦‍♂️ relentlessly on my feed before I left. I feel like the first time you’re served one you’re like WTF and pause for a few seconds and they take that as a marker to just keep on piling them in your direction.

I mean generally yes, but what about when you have soft deletes? Surely deleted_at HAS to go at the end?

My experience of flux so far would suggest you lean towards the single modal just for performance purposes. Not hating here, I like flux a lot, but I’ve definitely noticed a lot of components having an impact on load times

Maybe you need to go less niche to get it off the ground? Creators in other languages must still share the same issues. Also maybe opens doors to some different collaborative content, like working with someone where they build the front end and you do Laravel backend?

Personally I’d suck up the extra cost and go for the Pro. I got nearly a decade out of the MBP I had before my M4 because I just bought a little bit more spec than I needed.

I’m hoping that same tactic plays out this time. And the M4 doesn’t even break sweat with the stuff I’m asking it to do now

I definitely agree with the sentiment of this post. At the very least there should be a “I don’t want this” option in all these new implementations that stops it and then doesn’t aggressively try to get you to change your mind 😬
