I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but youโre in for some long winded disappointment

I have my phpstorm setup to only ever have one tab open at a time and then just use recent file switching. I donโt think I could ever go back to multi tab chaos ๐
Sometimes itโs just when my brain works the best, and I can get stuff done without any other distractions ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Anyone who thinks gaming is expensive should take up golf ๐ฌ
๐ฎ Iโve still not been fortunate enough to experience a parmo. I have often contemplated whether the 10 hour round trip to Boro is worth the trip though.
Whatโs in the mega fat bastard nosebag takeaway meal deal? I feel like you north easterners do dirty takeaway better than most. Certainly better than we get in the south west
My GM shot today. Have a good round
Last I heard it definitely wasnโt officially affiliated
So sorry Evan. I feel weโre so close to losing our boy and itโs going to break me. No words can help I know, but remember how much he was loved and how much he loved you. โค๏ธ
Just time to learn how to use NativePHP ๐ weโve been talking about it this week though
Agreed, weโve just done the same. Smiled ear to ear throughout every episode, beautiful stuff โค๏ธ
Especially when people doing it properly must make up a huge amount of their income
@cassiecodes.bsky.social super geek envy to see you on Syntax talking with Wes and Scott โค๏ธ
Hope Buddyโs eyebrow twinsie Brody is good
The fight videos ๐คฆโโ๏ธ relentlessly on my feed before I left. I feel like the first time youโre served one youโre like WTF and pause for a few seconds and they take that as a marker to just keep on piling them in your direction.
I mean generally yes, but what about when you have soft deletes? Surely deleted_at HAS to go at the end?
My experience of flux so far would suggest you lean towards the single modal just for performance purposes. Not hating here, I like flux a lot, but Iโve definitely noticed a lot of components having an impact on load times
Maybe you need to go less niche to get it off the ground? Creators in other languages must still share the same issues. Also maybe opens doors to some different collaborative content, like working with someone where they build the front end and you do Laravel backend?
Personally Iโd suck up the extra cost and go for the Pro. I got nearly a decade out of the MBP I had before my M4 because I just bought a little bit more spec than I needed.
Iโm hoping that same tactic plays out this time. And the M4 doesnโt even break sweat with the stuff Iโm asking it to do now
Mainly some Reddit thread. Donโt bother looking it up ๐
Lots of internet drama in Laravel community this week. Lifeโs far too short to care what other people think of your tech stack.
If your clients are happy, and youโre happy, the rest is just noise.
Why is it that sometimes your brain just doesnโt tell you to check the fundamental things?
I definitely agree with the sentiment of this post. At the very least there should be a โI donโt want thisโ option in all these new implementations that stops it and then doesnโt aggressively try to get you to change your mind ๐ฌ
On the terminal thing though, I love Warpโs ai suggestions ๐
Either of the first two Strokes albums fits this perfectly
Thanks. Will put a version online and share it with you once Iโve got it a little more polished
Bit more of a play with @imglab.bsky.social tonight.
Already switched out all the images on the Saint website to use this (page insight results were ๐), and so been making a little Laravel Livewire tool so that I have a bit of a UI to change settings and get relevant URL.
Bit of fun to end the day
Sounds good. Iโve signed up. Looking forward to it
Whatโs the format? As in will you be working on something specific at these times? Or do you have a list of things to pair on?
Really interesting read Marc. Food for thought ๐
Using Jin Yang in the thumbnail gets this a watch ๐
