Sailing boat at anchor with pink, grey and blue colours of sunset over the very low-lying island of Tiree, Inner Hebrides. Scotland.
At anchor in company - Gott Bay, Tiree.
An old street lamp in the foreground and the silhouette of old cottages with chimneys show up against a beautiful orange sky. A glow of light shines out from one of the cottage windows.
Cold weather and clear skies make for beautiful sunsets.

Stood in the sunshine looking over the yellow gorse bushes from high in the hills above Lochranza. The small ferry can be seen arriving at the slip on a beautiful calm blue sea.
A track leads down from the hills at the north end of the Isle of Arran. A little croft house on the RHS of the track sells teas, coffee and ice creams to passing walkers. It was a hot sunny day - the Icecream was wonderful!

Drumlin was anchored in Lamlash Bay, we took the 'round the island' bus and hopped on and off in beautiful weather.
Lovely to look at on days like today, when the temp won't rise above zero π₯Ά

Colour photograph of a black bird with a gold and red spot on its upper wing, facing right and perched on a thin twig with beak open out of which whisps of breath emerge, all against an undefined greyish background
Photographer Kathrin Swoboda captured amazing images of a red wing blackbird's song, visible via the bird's breath in cold air and early light
A green and white fishing boat tied up in the harbour in the late afternoon light. Snow covered mountains can be seen in the distance.
The Calmac ferry pier is brightly lit to the left of the photo. A rain squall can be seen coming off the hills at the end of the sea loch.
Teasels stand high on the foreshore against the stormy sky and the patchy snow on the hills.
The Christmas Creel Tree stands on the shore, lit up brightly with coloured lights and a huge twinkling crab in white lights on the top.
Popped over to Ullapool, Wester Ross this afternoon.
Thanks, and you.
I'm hoping to see quite a few cormorants myself as I'm popping over to Ullapool today.
