With any money-making scheme like this, always remember, if they could make more by using it themselves, they would. They make more $ by selling it to you. Therefore, you're unlikely to ever recoup your 'investment.'
Remember to treat every baby as if it is loaded.
Both ends.
You can also try "-AI" and it ...sometimes helps.
Learning to draw post 2022 sucks because the 'net is littered with AI garbage, so finding good reference is so much harder now. I've been using "before:2022-04-06" in google searches...
SCAM COMMENT - I wonder if this is some kind of poison pill / malicious smart contract that will empty your crypto if you try accessing this wallet...
Here's a clever scam / phishing thing. A fake login attempt email. I clicked "Report User" without noticing the email URL was all wrong. Fortunately it was just a mailto: link. I think. :|
I am now a dad.
YES, FLANDERS IT IS
"Macro King" was accepted and is now my company name.
As a Canadian and US citizen, I do not want Canada to be part of the United States. :|
Hilariously, of my 3 choices, "MACRO KING" was the only one to MAYBE get accepted.
Let us hope so.
As these things tend to go, my WORST idea for the thumbnail is not actually performing the worst, and my BEST idea for the thumbnail, (C3P0) IS performing the worst.
Canada won't let me name my business "Macro King."
Because I'm not a real king.
(6, final) ... I don't know when it'll be invented, but I'd not be surprised if it's within my lifetime. And here's the most relevant and interesting channel all about the alignment problem and its very real human extinction risk - and yes, it really is that bad: www.youtube.com/@RobertMiles...
(5) will actually be able to come up with new things, make decisions, edit videos in anyone's style in a tiny fraction of the time, learn the way humans do, etc. It is the real thing to be afraid of, for which we surely would need a basic income guarantee as most human labor becomes uncompetitive
(4/?) it far less. Again, there are exceptions like the generative fill stuff, which alone has saved me many hours. But I only think these tools will ever have value if used to supplement creativity, not replace it... which is what's happening...
Artificial GENERAL intelligence, on the other hand,
(3/?) ..better and easier to use, the skill floor lowered to almost nothing, allowing grifters of all kinds to use these tools and flood just about every market with slop that only looks good upon first impression. In general now, if I see that any part of something has been made with AI, I trust
(2/?) and AI-based upscaling, tho i have yet to find a really good one. (Gigapixel AI sucked every time I've tried it)
But it turns out all "AI" can really do is INTERPOLATE between existing ideas in its (usually stolen) database. It can't come up with anything new. Furthermore, as the tech gets...
Just to make a record, here are my current thoughts on generative AI:
I was initially really excited about it, seeing it as labor-saving for existing creatives. And those use cases are still great, like generative fill in Photoshop. (and the object selection tool, but it still kinda sucks...) (1/2)
Legit use case for AI:
Detect and block ALL instances of AI-generated garbage.
I know it couldn't work. But a man can dream.
If YouTube users choose the stupid thumbnail, that's on them.
Going to the gym last night, a drunk girl stumbles over to me and says, "Wanna shot??" holding up a half empty bottle of vodka.
I declined.
good god, why do i even try
How old are you?
Just realized that in this new age of smartphones, the surprise of hearing what you sound like on a recording, compared to what you sound like in your own head, is no longer something that most people will ever experience.
I remember hating how I sounded in a recording. My "real" voice is deeper.
