Two b&w polaroid images - left... the writing on the side of a lorry seen through the window of a derelict building, right... vehicle tracks in sand.

I finally got a chance to watch this. Between this and your book, now I REALLY want to go there. Gotta work out the logistics! Thanks for sharing!
Got it. Not sure when Iβll make it out that way, but Iβll keep that in mind!
Thanks! Ima grab a copy of that Salton Sea book this Friday, Iβve always wanted to see that place! Maybe one day. Thanks for subscribing!
April newsletter, on time this time. A favorite documentary on an American shopping mall, some personal feelings on AI, and some bookbinding attempts.

Want to save money developing color 35mm or 120 film negatives?. Do what I do ... home develop. It's really not hard & once you have the equipment needed to develop & scan negatives you will save $ on every roll. A typical lab will charge about $13-15+ per roll to develop & scan negatives.
Thanks Neal! Iβm trying to do this thing monthly. A mix of stories, projects in progress, and some amateur bookbinding! Thanks for subscribing!
Super late, but a quick March newsletter; my attending the Dallas Art Book Fair last month, sample spreads from my latest zine some nights i canβt sleep, and the hopeful start of a new publication:

True β "Everyone concedes that photography is now a medium of exchange as much as a mode of documentation. A digital snapshot is meant primarily as a means of communication, and the images being sent are as ephemeral as speech." Geoffrey Batchen
Here's a BSKY list for the zine making community. Comment to have someone added.

One of my favorite resources (I just need to keep better track, I miss deadlines all the time) is Lenscratch. Aline and her team keep this list current:

I really need to do better about posting things here! Iβm also a photographer who doesnβt seem to share any photographs.
Today, I just want to share some 2025 goals for accountability purposes. We all have newsletters right? Hereβs a post from mine.

This is awesome news, especially that the films will have an anti halation layer (love what Cinestill does for the community, but I want some color films that donβt go red in the highlightsβ¦)
And hopefully theyβll do sheet film, Kodak needs competition.
