There’s a lot of bad Will Campbell talk/analysis going on right now. I’ll put out a video later but short arms and vertical sets are getting a bad rap when neither is the issue. Said it last night and will say it again: it’s his punch timing (plus one extra technique adjustment)

Witherspoon giving Kaylee four “bro”s seven “man”s and a “bruh” is making me chuckle

Walker went the wrong way

Diggs spinning the ball after taking a big hit down 22 points is perfect 😆

Not by the game book but yes by the eye test

Meant more the specific 3rd down right before the punt where he finally got the clean pocket and then threw it way offline. I would’ve just attempted the QB sneak twice in a row. The 3rd and 5 run earlier felt like a very direct “oh crap” yield, although aware T play would’ve allowed for a huge play

What’s funny is that this is basically the version of Darnold everyone worried about when picking Sea (minus a turnover or two) and it just hasn’t mattered because the defense has been THAT dominant. In a closer game we’re point out a lot of off/missed throws.

Might be good for the Pats to just go no huddle and uptempo and see what happens. Can’t really get worse

Yea Darnold not Bradford my mind is a mess

You can’t input Mike Vrabel’s brain in the moment? I’m not sure what point you’re arguing for. The models input the data they can quantify the best they can. Past that it’s on Vrabel to use that against what he’s feeling and decide what’s best for the team.

That’s less a Gonzalez play and more another throw not on the mark by Bradford. If he leads Kupp that’s a catch and potentially run

I wonder if Drake’s 3rd down play was so bad they thought it was best to get him and the offense off the field and just kick it

09.02.2026 02:15 👍 15 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

I would’ve ran two sneaks. But the QB is beyond frazzled. They likely planned to go for it and then saw the outcome and knew he needed to get them to the sideline.

09.02.2026 02:13 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

I know they adjust the model and Vrabel has a guy in his ear telling him the stats, and yet he still punted. So I’d push back on it being able to input the subjective data because the head coach decided his subjectivity overrode the model.

Everyone loves Mike Vrabel but when he determines his offense doesn’t have it and chooses to punt it’s an obvious error. You have to sometimes trust that the coach has a better feeling than what the model is saying. Especially after watching his QB have an open pocket and panic and miss the throw.

Just QB sneak twice in a row on 3rd and 1

09.02.2026 01:59 👍 40 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0

Eh. It’s not as bad as it seems. Couple adjustments and not being still hurt.

And there’s an “I don’t trust my OL” call on 3rd and 5

09.02.2026 00:21 👍 42 🔁 2 💬 2 📌 0

No, it’s timing. Possibly still not trusting his knee

09.02.2026 00:18 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Every game of the playoffs is also after a big knee injury so I’m not going to write him off yet. Could easily be tied to that.

I think Will Campbell is just late. His hands are late so he’s catching, but his feet are moving too and not set. He’s getting zero power and no ability to stop power moves.

Shouldn’t have to lose to that pressure. LG was trying to push LT out to it but he was locked on the DE

Would be a shame if you ordered one a week before the next storm and it stopped working the second you put it back in the garage and you returned it after

I got a big boy blower after the last big storm (either last year or the year before) to be able to handle up to a foot without much issue. Battery operated, extra set of batteries. It’s been awesome and I quite enjoy it too. Just trying to optimize my route for efficiency now.

Brooke just said he doesn’t look like a football player, he looks like an electrician. But then we realized he looks like the electrician that came to the house a couple days ago so it may be priming!

They also didn’t freeze frame it exactly when Kupp went down so we could see where the ball was!

Good for Seattle. Been the best and most consistent team all year. They’re fun to watch especially when Darnold is slinging it like he did today.
