Hmmm, interesting. I will look into this
To be perfectly honest, I am not scared at all. I am fairly confident that everything is ready.
YOLO
I am scared that my app will break because I missed something important. ๐ค

Just pushed out new version of SkyDeck that removes the Popular feed. If it's something that you like you can add this Custom Feed that does the same thing.

The first step is to add a user modal that I can use later to add feeds from.
The popular feed is going away. I will be removing it from SkyDeck very soon (today or tomorrow).
I will be focusing on making custom feeds easier to use next as this is the intended post discovery mechanism.
I took some time off from BlueSky and https://skydeck.social to reset and focus on what's important.
What did I miss?
These errors come from Bluesky themselves.
It is still a bit odd thought. If you would like, I could pair on this with you.
Interesting. This seems to originate from the SkyDeck SDK. I might need to bump the version (I haven't done that in a while).
For the time being you could try to clear cookies for skydeck.social and try again.
Do you have a screenshot? I can't replicate the issue.
Please show the address bar, it may be helpful.
Sorry about that. My server went down when I was on a plane.
I am working on it. โค๏ธ
Come over anytime.
I could add `remember me` type of a login option that would allow SkyDeck to wipe the authentication information on browser close without wiping the configuration data.
I see.
The authentication session and configuration data for SkyDeck are saved in the same way. I don't think that there is a way to clear one but not the other at this time.
I will think about it and see if there is a way to control this.
Thanks for looking into it. I will try to replicate it on my end.
Clarification. There is one API endpoint made specifically for SkyDeck. It's responsible for getting info when embedding external links.
Maybe I misunderstood what you said.
Is your browser configured to dump cache at the end of the day?
SkyDeck uses localstorage to save your configuration. It does not communicate with any server-side code other than the Blusky APIs.
For that reason I save everything in the browser.
I have not seen this issue before. Is there any chance that you were using incognito mode?
Ahhhh good point. I keep forgetting that world outside of Chrome actually exists.
This should be the browser's job.
In chrome, right click, 'Translate to English'. Works well enough.
