I feel one of the reasons that internationally people think Americans in general are very nationalistic is the same reason any nation's nationalists tend to be viewed as the "whole", because the more ignorant you are, the louder you tend to be. Find the quiet thinkers and talk to them.

So, I've seen nursing certifications that are not a degree, but still take about 1.5 to 2 years of formal education to get. Those are usually done at a University as well. So I'm not sure where she's going with that move. Usually the same Universities that offer the certification also offer more.
