The nurses were handing out Vistaril and Benadryl like candy there too. Basically that hospital's answer to all problems were various forms of sedation.

Going to inpatient pretty much ruined my life. The psych put me on lithium (I did nothing for me!) which ended up making me ill, lethargic and rapidly gain weight which cost me my last job. The nurses there were extremely transphobic, I was constantly deadnamed and misgendered. It was traumatizing

Every time a patient wasn't being sufficiently obedient the nurses would tackle you, inject you with a sedative and put you in a locked room with no windows. I watched them do this to multiple patients including a black woman who was BEGGING for a medication she needed
