Another WIP, this time I’m doing a cart for #TraitorsToll. First up I’ve to get the base finished and doing these cobblestones takes a bit of time. I find doing individual ones makes them look better when it comes to painting. #nerdlings #wargaming

Here’s what I managed on the Dark Age buildings from Renedra last night. I still have the rooves and weathering to do but so far so good. They’re a simple kit so they’re not much of a hassle to paint. These will make some nice mouse houses for Burrows and Badgers I think. #nerdlimgs #wargaming
One went together really well, the other two were a nightmare though I’ve now noticed I’d one of the side walls upside down!

Plastic unpainted Dark Age Houses ready to be painted. They are made by Renedra
I’m not sure if I was putting these together correctly or not but I was left with a few gaps that I’ve filled with miliput . I’ll get them sprayed tomorrow and painted up over the weekend. They’ll be used for Burrows & Badgers soon. #nerdlings #wargaming #terrainmaking

Spent some time today preparing for our upcoming Burrows & Badgers campaign, here’s the first model for the Clawdonian Reivers. I’m going to do tartan on all the models so this was a first trial. Came out okay I think. #wargaming #nerdlings

With my tall thick hedges the fighting got a little difficult to judge so we fudged slightly the organisation. The Vikings managed to get through to the other side for the most part and Ivar killed the Saxon Chieftan in single combat! #nerdlings #pillage #wargaming
Meanwhile another band of Vikings were pelted by slingers as they ransacked the village. The fact they’d formed a shield wall helped a lot but the formation eventually broke up to pursue the slingers and offer help on the other flank.
Ivar the Red and his warband attacking a poor shepherd whilst the Saxon defenders struggle their way through a hedge! We played #pillage yesterday and had great fun. A simple enough game with just enough depth to offer tough choices. #nerdlings #wargaming #darkages

You’d be very surprised what people will pay for quality terrain that they don’t have to paint.
