Because that's not a creepy thing to find in a parking lot. Lol
@findingdeefish
FINDING DEE is the semi-autobiographical look at the ins and outs of coming out as a middle-aged, transgender cartoonist just trying to make it in comics, find a little success, and a safe place to PEE! findingdee.com
Because that's not a creepy thing to find in a parking lot. Lol
At a thrift store in Pittsburgh I asked for the restroom key. One employee said, βThatβs the wrong one. Thatβs the ladiesβ room key,β while looking at me. The store has exactly one, gender-neutral restroom. Soβ¦ that was a choice.
I still regularly draw myself drawing at a drafting table that I al.ost never actually use. Lol. There's value in iconography, for sure.
I haven't actually drank in about 2 years now.
Under no circumstances should I EVER be allowed to dance or even PRETEND to dance. I am a danger to myself and others. And while I rarely drink, if anyone convinces me to... even a LITTLE... there is a 50% chance something like this will happen because I can assure you 100% that this HAS happened.
Thanks!
I don't know the show in question, but I drew this originally at a convention back in September.
Just for fun, colored up that Popeye, "The Dark Knight Returns" parody I drew a few months ago.
Fuuuuuck.
I have... no idea what a "k1wif4rm3r" is, but I am assuming it's not a GOOD thing. lol
I really did just settle back into jeans, t-shirts, and occasional flannel. lol
I mean, SOMEtimes I'll dress up a smidge more, but more often than not, my wardrobe is what Heidi calls "Lesbian chic." lol
It is SOOOOOO rare to see an artist apply even a smidge of their own style to PEANUTS and still have it WORK! This is a very rare case and I dig the heck out of it.
Eh, I have a day job. Gotta dare the weather. lol
I can think of no strip I can run today that feels QUITE as relevant to the weather these past few days than this. Yeesh!
Nice recovery on telling me I look like a GRANMA!!! lol
More likely, foreshadowing of me debating letting the roots continue to grow out for a month or two before coloring it again. lol
Thanks! :)
I swear, my grey roots just kinda APPEAR without warning. Like... I don't think they were this noticable LAST WEEK. lol
Well, it was 14 degrees when we woke up today, so... that's a factor. lol
Heidi has a habit ofβ¦ occasionally using the wrong words for things that sound similar. Generally, Iβm NOT about to goof on that in the stripβ¦ but this particular one inspired a visual that couldnβt be ignored.
Also, those Seresto Collars REALLY work well! Just sayinβ!
Watched an awesome Inking tutorial by Mike Manley on Pencil to Pencil, which inspired me to stretch and try inking an artist I've always loved, who has a very different style from my own. In this case, the ever amazing Denys Cowan.
THANKS A LOT!
Thanks a lot
I am not currently sick. I did, however, take maybe one too many over the counter sleeping pills last night to help me rest, and this morning was a cornucopia of borderline hallucinogenic dreams as I overslept. Lol
As such, rerunning this Jack kirby-inspired homage feels wildly relevant. Lol
Since Paul Eza has released this double page spread that I drew, in the Acorn Comics Newsletter, I can now share it with everyone! Super excited for this comic!

With the Finding Dee campaign over, it's time for me to shift focus to one of the OTHER projects I'm working on and tell you all about that.
I'm the artist for Paul Eza's epic, mythology-inspired superhero saga, THE OLYMPIAN! You can sign up NOW for the upcoming issue #2! Olympiancomic.com
LOL, thanks!
Sometimes, I think of a joke that has NOTHING TO DO with Finding Dee, but I NEED to draw it anyway.
I thought of this as soon as I knew what a "Labubu" was, and made the joke plenty of times. Since then, I've heard other folks make the same basic joke, so I really just wanted to actually DRAW it!
I'd say just pick a specific volume
