My approach to marketing:

1. Be earnest and enthusiastic about what you’re making. If you don’t believe your game is amazing, no one else will.

2. Know your strengths and your weaknesses. Lean into the things your game does best, but acknowledge to yourself where the gaps are.

Knowing the limits on what we can do on an indie budget, it’s so imperative to make sure whatever you put out is optimized for the players who will actually enjoy your game. Do it with joy!
