My grandmother is a real treat. But she also keeps these two very early embroidery pieces and displays them at Christmas. So she can’t /entirely/hate me. Right? Anyway. Gaze upon the atrocity that is my early work.

I use a type and brand of needle that’s $4-$5 a pop. I’m very reluctant to give one up, even after the coating is gone and it develops burrs. Incredibly unpleasant to handle at that point, but we solider on. Apparently my limit is when it irritates my finger pads so much they bleed. Imagine.
