The U.S. war on Iran is now estimated to cost $1 billion per day. Meanwhile Americans are told there’s no money for healthcare, hospitals, or basic social programs.

Democrats always say their hands are tied, but they only seem powerless when it comes to helping workers. When it’s war budgets, surveillance, or corporate subsidies, bipartisan majorities appear overnight. The problem isn’t just Republicans. It’s a political system that serves the same donors.

I sympathize w/ Trotskyism but don't consider myself a Trotskyist. Libertarian socialist I will accept.
He's rallying the Hispanic vote behind him which is key. In Texas you need a uniting message.

Barack Obama’s presidency laid the groundwork for Trump. He oversaw continuous war abroad, massive transfers of wealth to the rich after the financial crisis, and worsening living conditions for workers.
Israel’s long-term position is more fragile than its military strength suggests. Global opinion has shifted dramatically since Gaza. Among younger Americans and Europeans, unconditional support is no longer a given.
Violence can project dominance. It can’t reverse decline.
