I spoke too soon on the pain. Accidentally let water hit that side of my mouth, and now it feels like my jaw is breaking.

I am in less pain today, but I was so run down that I had to go back to bed and sleep all afternoon 😭

They can't (or shouldn't be able to) see your account if you're set to only be seen by users who are signed in and they're in the account you blocked.

I check clearsky from time to time to find out if I've been added to any shit lists, and I can't see anything from people blocking me.

On the way to Walgreens, the lightning was WILD. It was strobing all over the place, just constant the whole way there and back.

Hopefully, I'll have pain relief by Sunday 🤞

And now I'm gonna cry about every person who is suffering, needing antibiotics that cost me $2, and I got within 2 hours of realizing I needed help.

I've never been in this position before in my life, having a dentist instead of a clinic, having an emergency response like that, and now I can stop panicking about the infection I was worried would happen, because it's here, and my root canal consult is already scheduled.

I need to take a moment to acknowledge how grateful I am to my dentist, who keeps an emergency line that he personally called back on at 9pm on a Friday.

At 9pm, I recognized I had symptoms of an infection (unbearable pain, fever, redness, swelling). At 11, I took my first dose of antibiotics.

My root canals in the past were just relief because I was in so much pain before them. I think that's what I'm so panicked about--ending up in that pain again.

I wonder how they'll feel if I show up with a plushie and headphones and beg to be allowed to dissociate 😅

The tooth they said might need a root canal if it hurt after they filled it hurts (only when I chew).

They said to call if I had dull pain after a few days, so I left a message.

I'm having an anxiety attack over it 😭

I finally saw the movie for the first time in January this year! I didn't know what it was going to be and was confused when the events from the original sightings were happening until it finally clicked that they'd brought it into the future

I actually really appreciated this question because I saw a similar version the other day that I couldn't answer because of the way it was phrased.

This helped me work through my thoughts on the subject and is the first time I've answered, for me or anyone else, the significance of that scar.

There are more as the series goes on, some more impactful than others, and other characters who also have permanent changes.

I don't do the "this massive thing happened, but the people involved are unchanged" trope. Even (especially) if there's no memory, the scars of the mind will remain.

Between his dhampir healing (no stitches needed but glue is) and being rescued by a nurse who gives him first aid, he survives, but those scars are permanent. The magic nature of the attack means they cannot be removed by magic or science. And yeah, they affect him deeply, but that's another story.

Which means that if they're in different universes somehow, he can always summon them with just their name and his blood. It is sealed to them alone and no other version of them or him.

The next major injury he receives is in 'Vampire Wolf,' when he's attacked and has his back torn open.
