This totally sucks!
This totally sucks!
How it's done...
That is so funny!
I think the majority on the Supreme Court or the US is just trying to create a dictatorship. Thanks, no thanks. #scotus #dictator
Guess what? Rebecca Lindsey @relindsey.bsky.social and other `climate.gov` employees are putting together climate.us for climate information. See also www.dw.com/en/fired-cli...
#Scotus has gone off the deep end. How can masked ICE agents (we can't tell if they are legitimate) detain people without probable cause? #shadowdocket is out of control.
Stunning! An 8-hour time-lapse to show the Earth is rotating while capturing the Milky Way.
The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

We have PBS Passport SoCal and also support 5 NPR radio stations. 3 in California and 2 in Michigan.
i just did this for $10/month. worth every penny.
I really like it. Very cool work/study.
Now, fat #Trump fires the Bureau of Labor and Statistics commissioner because he doesn't like the jobs report from May and June being revised down and the mediocre July report. Let's think, he fires tons of government workers, ends funding for NGO jobs by all the funding cuts. It is 100% his doing.
If we can't compete on this level then we don't need or deserve to. If the labor rate and other factors make an uneven playing field then import tariffs are OK, or if the other country has a tariff on the US. Congress should make these Trade agreements as the President can't dictate taxes.
If anyone thinks this tariff regime that the #potus #trump is doing is going to work, they have another thing coming. First of all, if the relative costs of labor etc. is the same like between EU and US then the tariffs should be zero unless the country subsidizes the good or has other incentives.
Are there multiple parties and ranked choice voting?
Nothing like it!
Congratulations! Please come back and support Scala/Scala Native if you can after graduation.
Most of US does - just dorks that don't.
"Writing the address on the envelope was awkward, as I havenβt used a pen in several years" π±
I can imagine that in another couple of years people will say "writing was awkward as I haven't written anything in several years", but anyway, this post was a fun read:

The image is a screenshot of a social media post by Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders ). The post reads: "So. This is the state of American democracy. The richest guy in the world is handing out million dollar checks in order to win a Wisconsin Supreme Court seat and elect an anti-choice judge. We MUST overturn Citizens United and move to public funding of elections." Below the post, there is an image of Elon Musk holding a large check made out to "America PAC" for "Nicholas Jacobs" in the amount of $1,000,000, signed by Elon Musk.
Money corrupts, and money in politics corrupts completely.
I'm blown away π€― @ekrich.bsky.social π
Wow that is fantastic! I having been hoping for this since I ported typesafe/config to Scala in Nov 2017 after some comment by Olaf with the first release in Feb 2018. April 2019 I released 0.8.0 with support for Scala Native version 0.3.9. That is quite a few years but ekrich/sconfig is better now.
NEW: Pregnancy became far more dangerous in Texas after the state banned abortion, according to ProPublicaβs first-of-its-kind analysis, which found the sepsis rate for women hospitalized as they miscarried in the 2nd trimester shot up by more than 50%.

Did you notice there are Scala Native builds too rather than Graal? I guess this is not announced quite yet as they figure out how to build and distribute more platforms.
Should have printed it to PDF and attached it.
Protected! I got them both too.
#Scala.js 1.18.2 is released! It contains one more backward compatibility fix, improves compatibility with Scala 2.13.16, and improves the generated code for js.Dynamic.literal() with Scala 2.13.x. www.scala-js.org/news/2025/01...
Perfect word.
