There’s a mention about this in the WSJ piece too. It’s by no means a perfect place, but it’s a changing landscape and considering all the issues immigrants are seeing just about everywhere, it’s good to see some places that are at least trying to be better.

So I don't think it's prescience so much as the sad familiarity of fascism and the karaoke menu of things that you go through to do it. You could list them from the show, or you could list them from the newspaper.
