Carson Whisenhunt recorded 3 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts (5 whiffs) and 0 walks today. He needed that #SFGiants
I think the Giants would be happy if Tyler Mahle, Adrian Houser, and Landen Roupp gave them 25 starts apiece. That said, it is unlikely to expect that, so they will need to fill the gaps. Trevor McDonald has positioned himself to be one of the 1st options...
Spring training stats are fun because Trevor McDonald has posted a ludicrously high 84.6 percent ground ball rate this spring, albeit in a tiny sample of just 6 innings.

NY Post: Dave Roberts is quoted saying Tibbs is “on our radar” and wouldn’t be surprised at all if Tibbs “at some point this year, he makes his debut.”
Sorry if I worded that terribly!
@keithlaw.bsky.social know ST games are meaningless, but do you think Tibbs has an actual shot of making the roster this season? Thanks!
Partial transcript from Golden Daze pod.
No problem with players grumbling about media coverage, because we are never above criticism. There’s a local podcaster (not a journalist, but thinks he is) who hates Podz. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and should absolutley be put on blast. Players lump all the writers/voices together 😩
