honestly i just consider the greatest albums of all time as equal, you can't put one over the other as they're all so different and there's so many of them

according to the LTT review it seems valve is open to others in the vr space approaching them about possible continued support/manufacturing (whatever that means)

in general it seems like valve is trying to push the vr market a little bit rather than just making a high end headset like the index was, which is gonna upset people who want high end vr but imo it'll be a very good thing if it works out, just look at what the steam deck did (especially for linux)

overall i'm honestly decently happy with the headset, assuming it's priced well. if it is then i'll definitely sell my quest 3 and buy one, it's not much of an upgrade in terms of hardware but the seamless steam integration and not being meta is a huge plus for me

tbh i don't have much experience with base station headsets (and i have a quest 3) but the LTT review made it seem like the dead zones and tracking were surprisingly really good, so hopefully that is true

that too yeah!! honestly i just want the stock ui with flac (or opus) support, replaygain support, better smart playlists, stock controls, and drag and drop support so i dont have to use itunes 😭 that would be perfect

i keep hearing about Monado, what exactly is it? i use alvr with my quest 3 and if its an alternative im wondering if its any good

i rarely even go on windows anymore tbh, except for substance painter/unity/blender stuff. also i just installed cachyos on my legion go and it seems pretty good, also arch-based so similar to endeavourOS but with gaming more in mind
